There is something very powerful about women coming together in support of one another. RestoreHER creates spaces for women to be seen, heard, validated and supported. Our goal is to bring women, especially women of color together for self-healing & wellness. We want women to know they aren’t alone. Connecting with other women who are willing to share their stories helps lighten the load for everyone involved. We provide support for each other, we learn about ourselves, we help each other heal, and we have fun. 

The stress that black women face in their lives has negative consequences on their health – mental, physical and emotional.

Despite these pressures and the obvious need for self-care, black women do not engage in mainstream practices. Black women, who are often the foundation of their communities and are forced to adhere to the “strong black woman” trope, often receive the message that taking care of themselves is selfish.
The solution is to help black women understand what relaxation and freedom means to them by providing the right wellness content to help them improve their emotional, mental and physical health every day. The solution is community wellness centers. The solution is RestoreHER Wellness Studio.
